Jonathan Fure

In 1997 Jonathan’s family came to Duluth Gospel Tabernacle when his father Rolf answered the call to be the pastor. A teenager at the time, Jonathan quickly felt his own calling into the ministry of music and worship. In the decades since he has served at DGT as a worship leader alongside his good friend and ministry partner Jim King.

Jonathan married Kristina in 2001. Together they have raised 4 amazing kids to love and serve the Lord. When not volunteering his time as a worship leader, Jonathan works as a production manager at a local manufacturing facility. He can also be seen helping with youth ministry, men’s ministry, serving on boards, and other areas of need.

It is the desire of Jonathan’s heart to see the Lord worshipped, the Gospel of Christ go forth, and the Holy Spirit move in power. That is his driving focus when choosing songs and leading a multicultural, multigenerational congregation.
